Andalusia has an ancient tradition in the cultivation and the production of wines of great prestige and fame all over the world. If you are a wine lover and gourmand, this route will give you the opportunity to know 4 different Denominations of Origin (D.O) of Andalusia and Extremadura, discovering centenary, family and international prestigious wineries and cellars.

The Mediterranean climate and the different microclimates, the scarcity of frosts, the numerous hours of sunshine, a strong altitudinal contrast and the aging system, create wines of great quality, at the same time very varied and characteristic.

In addition, you will taste the wines with a fabulous local gastronomy, tasting the best ham, cheese and wine, as well as typical regional dishes such as the southern fried fish, the prized bull’s tail, salmorejo ..

The tour will lead you through splendid cities and towns, such as Jerez de la Frontera, which in the first half of the 19th century became the capital of wine in the world, or Cordoba, a World Heritage Site, a living legacy of the different cultures. Few places in the world can boast of having been the capital of Hispania under the Roman Empire and capital of the Caliphate of the Umayyads … .and Ronda The so-called “city of castles” on both sides of the riverTajo del Ronda, a gorge over 150 meters deep. … ..

All this, with the help of people who are proud of their land and their culture, who artistically work their products and their lands, to offer you the best, with their dedication, kindness and smile.

Cities and towns visited: Seville, Jerez, Ronda, Córdoba y Zafra.

Activities: Tapas tour, visits to 4 wineries of 4 different D.O with tasting, visit to a drying of Iberian ham DO Extremadura with tasting. Equestrian show “how Andalusian horses dance” and museum of the Royal School of Equestrian Dance.

Day 1 – D

• 12:00 Pick up at the airport or train station. Our guide welcomes you and will take you on a magical tour through the center of Seville, during which you can not only admire the beautiful cathedral, the Giralda and the Alcázar and know its history and legends, but also enjoy a tapas tour visiting bars with much solera where you will taste exquisite Andalusian specialties.

• Departure to Jerez (approx 1h 15m)

• 17: 00-18: 30 Visit to one of the most prestigious wineries with D.O. Jerez, founded in 1835. Taste of two of its wines.

• Check in a centric hotel with charm. Free time

Day 2 – B/L

• 10: 30- 13:30 in the morning we will visit the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Dance. There we will visit its beautiful garden, the Palace of s, XIX, its workshop of harnesses, its museum of carriages etc. , And we will finish with the beautiful equestrian show: a real equestrian ballet with purely Spanish music and costumes from the 18th century.

• 14:00 Lunch with typical dishes of the area.

• Departure to Ronda (approx 1 and a half hours).

• 17: 00-18: 30. Visit to impressive winery with D.O Sierra de Málaga, located in an old monastery of the sixteenth century. Wine tasting with aperitif or tapa.

• 18:30 -20: 30 Guided visit to Ronda. You will be amazed by the “Maestranza” and the Puente Nuevo, a colossal piece of engineering that sits at the base of the ravine, reaching 98 meters in height and 70 in length.

• Check in at hotel with charm. Free time.

Day 3 – B/L

• 9:00- 10:45 Departure to Montilla (1h 45m)

• 11: 00-12: 30 Visit winery founded in 1729, one of the most prestigious and internationally recognized in Andalusia. Located inside the D.O Montilla-Moriles. Tasting of its wines with some aperitif or tapa.

• Departure to Córdoba (45m) Lunch in a restaurant to taste typical dishes.

• 15: 30- 17:30 Visit to Cordoba, World Heritage. We will enter the Mosque , whose construction began in 785 and is considered the most important monument of all Andalusian architecture and the Synagogue, the only one existing in Andalusia and one of the only three that are preserved in Spain at that time.

• 18:00 Check in at hotel with charm. Free time.

Day 4 – B/L

• 9:00 Departure to Zafra (2h). 11: 00- 12:30 Visit to Iberian dryer D.O Extremadura with great tasting. We will learn about this Gourmet product and its laborious production process that makes it a gastronomic gem.

• 12: 30-13: 30. Visit to a family winery that since 1931, the persistence and industriousness of its members, allow it to become one of the few Extremadura wineries that since then have been producing, aging and bottling high quality wines. Tasting will follow.

• Lunch in Zafra. Extremadura dishes.

• Check in. Free time In Zafra.

• Back to Seville in our private bus.
