Culinary Spain is a Food Travel agency specialized in exclusive gourmet food&wine, cultural tours and cooking vacations throughout Spain and some international destinations.

  • Away from the normal tourist traps, we will take you to some of the gourmet staples of Spanish regional cuisines. We focus on excursions to magnificent locations off the beaten track, traveling through fascinating landscapes, olive groves, vineyards, saffron, oranges tress, rice plantations…Passing by cobble-stoned villas and medieval hamlets, Arab villages and fortresses, Spain is graced with spectacular hilltop castles, windmills, Roman aqueducts and bridges, Romanesque monasteries and Baroque churches, Gothic cathedrals.. A great amount of Unesco World Heritage sites provide a magnificent backdrop for you as we explore the tastes of Spain .
  • We will stay in luxurious converted Palaces and Castles hotels, representative of Spain ‘ s historical and cultural heritage, amazing Country Mansions, exclusive wine Hotels right in the vineyards, small rustic chic hotels, all located in gorgeous rural settings with amazing landscapes , wonderful walks and views. In the main cities we include 4/5 star luxury hotels also chosen for its charm and convenience.

What do we include ?

  • We will test a variety of foods: Gourmet or Michelin, tapas , traditional restaurants to try all styles and most Spanish varied regional cuisines.
  • Learn great recipes in hands on cooking classes , to be taught in schools or prestigious Chefs restaurants, but not before going to the Fresh Market in the region.
  • Depending on the chosen tour we will visit wineries , dairies , Iberian ham, olive oil , bakery bread , chocolate or ham producers…. Where we will taste their products and learn about the production process and methods. Also if we are in season we will see the processes of picking grapes, olives, saffron etc . The possibilities are many .
  • Of course our tours are also cultural . One cannot leave Madrid without seeing the Royal Palace or the Sacred Family in Barcelona , the Alcázar or catedral in Seville or the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao … stroll through the historic centres of each city listening to curious legends of our history once we,ve visited the gourmet shops, old taverns , cafes or shops with character.
  • And enjoy our excursions to the most characteristic villages ¡Accompanied and advised throughout by our specialist guides who will make you feel at home .
