Cheese and champagne tasting

This cheese tasting and pairing with wines or champagnes is a didactic, tasting and sensory activity where you will be surprised by the amount of things you didn't know about cheese.
How many cheese varieties do you know? Cheese is a food as old as mankind and perhaps the most primitive form of milk preservation.
In this cheese tasting, You will learn to evaluate through sensory perception, cheeses that will go from fresh and soft varieties, passing through mature cheeses to finish with blue-veined cheeses. You will learn to evaluate the external appearance, such as rind, weight, and the internal appearance such as hardness, structure, smell, aroma, flavor. Without forgetting the aftertaste, the persistence and the possible sensations of spiciness or astringency.
In addition, we can ”theme or customize” the tasting and offer, as an example, the following types of tastings:

First we will make a brief introduction to cheese where we will learn about its history, elaboration, types of pastes, milks and cheeses of the world.

The following is the tasting/pairing:
- Particularly attractive is the combination of 4 different types of international or craft beers with a selection of 4 cheeses, made from raw cow, goat and sheep milk, as well as the so-called Blue cheese.
- Or you will be surprised by the combination of sensations of a Manchego cheese with white wines, goat cheese with Riberas, Azules with Moscatel and the surprise pairing with Pedro Ximénez vinegar.
- And finally the premium pairing, with cava or champagne.
