Gourmet New Year's Eve in Madrid. During the Christmas season, Madrid is filled with thousands of lights and colors, hundreds of Christmas trees and beautiful Nativity scenes.




The city is more lively and cheerful than ever, Spaniards and visitors take to the streets to sing Christmas carols, go out for tapas and drinks, go shopping, visit the beautiful Nativity scenes or various exhibitions, or attend a musical, theatrical or dance show...In addition., in the Plaza Mayor, you will be able to enjoy our most traditional Christmas market, and on the 31st you will be able to enjoy a Big New Year's Eve party and follow our tradition of eating the 12 grapes in the last 12 seconds of the year to make your wish come true...
Madrid, the vibrant and modern capital of Spain, will amaze you with its majestic historic districts and magnificent avenues, monuments, museums and gardens, and a wide variety of cultural activities, as well as excellent taverns and restaurants.

Massively from the most diverse Spanish regions brought with them their gastronomic customs, so let's enjoy their rich and varied gastronomy!
After the big party, we will move to a Boutique hacienda-hotel on the banks of the Tormes River, to enjoy a restful rest
o and get to know the wonderful city of Salamanca, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will have the opportunity to visit and taste the wines, cheeses and Iberian hams of an large wine cellar, artisan cheese dairy and ham dryer and take a 4×4 ride through a private farm that breeds Iberian pigs, buffaloes, and other native breeds.
All this, from the hand of people proud of their land and their culture that, in an artisan way, work their products and their lands, to offer you the best, with their dedication, kindness and their smile.

Day 30 Dec.- D
- Airport pick up - private transfer to modern and centrally located hotel. Check in.
- Welcome dinner at a prestigious restaurant.
Day 31 Dec.- B/L/D
- Guided cultural and tapas tour to learn about the history and gastronomy of Madrid. For 4 hours, you will enjoy a private walking tour through some interesting sites that today are part of what is known as “the Madrid of the Austrias“, in the area surrounding the beautiful arcaded Plaza Mayor, the amazing Royal Palace next to the beautiful Opera Square, and we will tell you fantastic legends of Madrid's history.
We will take you to the most famous tapas district, to magnificent bars and cheerful old taverns that we Spaniards visit, and to the beautiful San Miguel Market, a meeting place for the tapas hour.
You will be amazed with the bars full of tapas and pinchos... Any delight, from prawns with garlic, clams in sherry sauce, ham croquettes, pickle and olive banderillas, cheeses and Iberian ham, .... They can be enjoyed as a tapa and accompanied by a glass of wine or a glass of beer... simply delicious!
- Free time in the afternoon. Optional: Personal shopper to get to know the most chic neighborhood with the most luxurious stores in Madrid.
- Great Gourmet New Year's Eve dinner and party in Madrid at a trendy restaurant. Celebrate the beginning of the year in the traditional Spanish way! Welcome to the only hospitality project signed by Philippe Starck in Spain. The emblematic Puerta de Alcalá of the capital will be the view you will enjoy on this special night.
Day 1 January - B/L.
- Rest day after yesterday's big party! Today Madrid will be a quiet city, and almost deserted. The Spaniards are resting after the big celebration. Take the opportunity to stroll through the beautiful Retiro Park.
- Lunch at a prestigious restaurant. In the afternoon free time, we recommend going to Gran Via, it will be lively with its cinemas, theaters and numerous stores (OPTIONAL: check availability of musicals or other events).
Day 2 January - B/L.
- Departure to Guijuelo (2h.).
- Visit to the factory and dryer of Iberian ham. Today we are going to learn about the truth of the authentic Iberian acorn-fed ham, considered a gastronomic jewel, how to differentiate it from the rest, and learn all about its meticulous elaboration process, from the essential acorn feeding of the pigs in the pasture to its drying process over the years. We finish with a great tasting (lunch).
- Exit to Salamanca ( 45min.)
- Guided tour We will visit the University City par excellence, the place where the first Spanish grammar was born, a monumental complex of great beauty declared a World Heritage Site. We will visit the grandiose and baroque Plaza Mayor, the Casa de las Conchas (with more than 300 shells on its façade), its renowned University, the oldest in Spain and its grandiose Cathedral.
- Free time to enjoy this beautiful city
- Transfer to charming hotel on the banks of the Duero river in Salamanca. Founded in 1366 by the Dominicans and where Christopher Columbus stayed during the Valcuev Conferences. Here we will have a first approach to the tasting of famous wines from Rivera del Duero (DO) in Spain.
Day 3 January - B/L
- Today we will visit in 4×4 a very special place, a private farm of many hectares, with an artisan cheese factory, an organic orchard, a balsamic vinegar cellar, where we teach and share our lifestyle, our way of enjoying the flavors of life in a fun and unique way. For about 3 hours you will enjoy:
- Four by four ride through the farm, admiring the beautiful scenery and watching the animals, such as the buffaloes, or the Spanish Iberian pig.
- Visit to the organic garden, balsamic vinegar cellar and observation tower ...
- Visit to the cheese factory and tasting of our gourmet cheeses led by a professional.
- We will end with an informal buffet lunch, based on all the products they produce, Iberian cured meats, cheeses, olive oil, great wines!
- In the afternoon, visit and professional wine tasting at the hotel's winery.
- Relaxation. Enjoy its spa, a walk through the vineyards or its gourmet restaurant overlooking the river Tormes.
Day 4 January - B/L/D
- Check out. Transfer to Madrid and check in.
- Barrio Salamanca Gourmet Route or Spanish cooking class. Choose the option that you like the most.
- In the Gourmet route, we will visit the luxurious Salamanca neighborhood in Madrid and one of the most select, not only to admire the beautiful facades of its buildings or the wonderful windows of the brand stores, but also to discover some of its Gourmet stores or delicatessen products, its fabulous local market and some “new” spaces for its gastronomic concept that unites restaurants, stores and leisure.
- If you prefer the cooking class, you will learn from the Chef, how to prepare delicious tapas and Spanish dishes such as paella, tortilla de patata, gazpacho.....
- Free time or rest.
- Farewell dinner with flamenco showauthentic dance with professionals of this great art.
Day 5 January - B/D
Check out. Transfer to the airport, end of services.
