We will also visit an impressive factory/dryer of Iberian hams where we will learn all the truth about the authentic acorn-fed ham and taste it in quantity with a good wine.

Madrid is the European capital that has most absorbed the regional cuisines of its country. When Philip II made it the capital of Spain, the emigrants who arrived en masse from the most diverse Spanish regions brought with them their gastronomic customs. Thus, to enjoy its rich and varied gastronomy!!
Madrid, vibrant and modern, will amaze you with its majestic historic districts and magnificent avenues, monuments, museums and gardens, and a wide variety of cultural activities, as well as excellent taverns and restaurants.

Day 11 Oct.- D.
Pick up at the airport - private transfer by VIP minibus (2 hours and a half) to a wonderful hotel in the center of the city. Salamanca, 15th century palace, restored and decorated with exquisite taste to make it a truly exclusive accommodation. It is located in the heart of the old town so you can discover this great city, a world heritage site. Check in.
Welcome dinner.
Day 12 - B/L
Check out Departure to Guijuelo ( 45min)
Visit to the Iberian ham factory and dryer. Today we are going to learn about the truth of the authentic Iberian acorn-fed ham, considered a gastronomic jewel, how to differentiate it from the rest, and learn about its meticulous elaboration process, from the essential acorn feeding of the pigs in the pasture to its drying process over the years. We finish with a great tasting (food).
Exit to Salamanca ( 45min.)
Guided tour to the University City par excellence, the birthplace of the first grammar of Spanish, a monumental complex of great beauty declared a World Heritage Site. World Heritage Site. We will visit the grandiose and baroque Plaza Mayor, the Casa de las Conchas (with more than 300 shells on its facade), its renowned University, the oldest in Spain and its grandiose Cathedral.
Free time to enjoy this beautiful city and if you want to have some dinner on your own before the transfer back to our hotel.
Day 13 Saturday - B/L
¡¡ Great grape harvest festival !
From 12 noon to approximately 7 p.m. we will have the incredible opportunity to experience the great grape harvest festival, which takes place once a year in the hotel's vineyards, and during which you will learn to harvesting the grapes in the vineyard itself, will drink from the wineskin, will tread the grapes barefoot to obtain the grape must. and enjoy in the company of wonderful people, a party with lots of folkloric music, a giant and delicious buffet and barbecue and of course, lots of wine¡
Return to the hotel, rest, and if you are still hungry, enjoy tapas in the city.
Day 14 Sunday B /L
Check out, Departure to Toledo ( 2 hours).
It is one of the Spanish cities with the greatest wealth of monuments. Known as the “city of the three cultures”, because Christians, Arabs and Jews lived together for centuries, behind its walls Toledo preserves an artistic and cultural legacy in the form of churches, palaces, fortresses, mosques and synagogues. This great diversity of artistic styles turns the old town of the capital of La Mancha into a real open-air museum, which has led it to be declared an open-air museum. World Heritage Site.
Your guide will explain the great history and legends of this magical place, visit its majestic Cathedral, the Synagogue, the famous painting of “el Greco” and the church of San Juan.
Lunch at a renowned restaurant, where you will taste some of the regional specialties, In Castilla, some typical dishes such as partridge a la toledana, pisto manchego (ratatouille) or sopa castellana.
Rest of the afternoon free for shopping.
Transfer to our modern hotel ( 45 min.), also located in an old palace, located in the center of Madrid, so you can walk around and get to know the atmosphere of the city. Madrid.

Day 15 Monday - B/L
Guided cultural and tapas tour to learn about the history and gastronomy of Madrid.
During 4 hours, you will enjoy a private walking tour through some interesting sites that are nowadays part of what is known as “the Madrid of the Austrias“, in the area surrounding the beautiful arcaded Plaza Mayor, the amazing Royal Palace next to the beautiful Opera Square, and we will tell you fantastic legends of Madrid's history.
We will take you to the most famous tapas district, to magnificent bars and cheerful old taverns that we Spaniards visit, and to the beautiful San Miguel Market, a meeting place for the tapas hour.
You will be amazed at the bars filled with tapas and pinchos...Any delicacy, from prawns with garlic, clams in sherry sauce, ham croquettes, gherkin and olive banderillas,
cheeses and Iberian ham, .... They can be enjoyed as a tapa and accompanied by an vinito or caña... simply delicious!
Free time in the afternoon to explore the capital city with its museums, parks, stores, gastronomy and music!
Day 16 Tuesday - B/L/D
Cooking class you will learn from the hand of the Chef, to prepare delicious tapas and spanish dishes such as paella, tortilla de patata, gazpacho.....Dinner of what you prepare yourselves with Spanish wine or sangria. If the group is less than 5 people, the class will be held at the Chef's house!
Free afternoon and farewell dinner with flamenco show authentic dance with professionals of this great art.
Day 17 Wednesday- B
Check out. Transfer to Madrid airport. End of services.
