Wine tourism route through Andalusia and Extremadura:

Andalucía has a millenary tradition in the cultivation of vines and in the elaboration of wines of great prestige and fame all over the world. If you are a lover of wine and good gastronomy, this route will give you the opportunity to get to know 4 different Denominations of Origin (D.O.) of Andalusia and Extremadura, discovering centenary wineries, family or of great international prestige. A very interesting variety to learn all about their appreciated wines.

The climate Mediterranean and the different microclimates, the scarcity of frost, the numerous hours of sunshine, a strong altitudinal contrast and the aging system, create wines of great quality, as well as very varied and characteristic.

In addition, you will pair the wines with a fabulous local gastronomy, tasting the best ham, cheese and wine, as well as typical regional dishes such as fried fish from the South, the highly prized oxtail, salmorejo (a kind of gazpacho) ...

The route will lead you through splendorous cities and towns, such as Jerez de la Frontera, which in the first half of the 19th century became the wine capital of the world, or Cordoba, a World Heritage Site, a living legacy of diverse cultures. Few places in the world can boast of having been the capital of Hispania under the Roman Empire and capital of the Caliphate of the Umayyad ....y Ronda The so-called “city of castles” on both sides of the Tajo del Ronda, a gorge more than 150 meters deep. .....

Day 1- L

• 12:00 Pick up at Seville Airport or Seville Ave station. Our Sevillian guide will welcome you and will lead you through a magical route through the center of Seville, during which you will be able not only to admire the beautiful
  the cathedral, the Giralda and the Alcazar and learn about their history and legends, but also enjoy a tapas route by bars with a lot of tradition where you will taste exquisite Andalusian specialties.
• 17:00-18:30 Visit to one of the most prestigious wineries with D.O. Jerez , Tasting of two of its wines.
• Departure to Jerez (approx. 1h 15m)
• Check in at a charming hotel. Free time at leisure.

Day 2 - B/L

• 10:30- 13:30 we will enjoy the morning at the Royal School of Andalusian Equestrian Dance. There visit
  18th century style costumes.
• 14:00 Lunch with typical dishes of the area.
• Departure to Ronda (approx 1 hour and a half).
• 17:00-18:30 . Visit to impressive Winery with D.O. Sierra de Málaga, located in a former monastery of the XVI century. Tasting of its wines and snacks.
• 18:30 -20:30 Guided tour to Round. You will be amazed by the “Maestranza” and the New Bridge, a colossal work of engineering that sits at the base of the ravine, reaching at some points 98 meters high and 70 meters long.
• Check in at a charming hotel. Free time at leisure.

Day 3- - B/L

• 11:00-12:30 Visit to a winery founded in 1729, one of the most prestigious and internationally recognized wineries in Andalusia. Located within the D.O. Montilla-Moriles. Tasting of its wines with snacks.s its beautiful gardens, the Palace of s, XIX, his harness workshop, its museum of carriages etc.. We will finish with the beautiful equestrian show: an authentic equestrian ballet with Spanish music and a horse show.
• 15:30- 17:30 Visit to Cordoba, World Heritage Site. We will enter the Mosque, whose construction began in the year 785 and is considered the most important monument of all Andalusian architecture and the Synagogue, the only 9:00- 10:45 Departure to Montilla (1h 45mca existing in Andalusia and one of only three that are preserved in Spain from that time.
• Exit to Córdoba ( 45m) Lunch in a restaurant to taste typical dishes.
• 18:00 Check in at charming hotel. Free time at leisure.

Day 4 - B/L

• 9:00 Departure to Zafra ( 2h). 11:00- 12:30 Visit to an Iberian dryer D.O. Extremadura with a great tasting. We will learn about this gourmet product and its laborious production process that makes it a gastronomic jewel.
• 12:30-13:30 . Visit to Family winery that since 1931, the tenacity and hard work of its members have allowed it to become one of the few wineries in Extremadura that since then have been making, aging and bottling high quality wines. Tasting.
• Food in Zafra. Dishes from Extremadura.
• Free time In Zafra.
• Return to Seville. End of services.
