There are many towns in Spain, which, on the occasion of the harvest, The town celebrates its local festivities, which were born from the concern of its neighbors to exalt its most representative product: wine.

What better excuse than this to organize a enogastronomic route and thus enjoy these festivities, savor the typical cuisine of each region and visit a winery to taste their wines.

To name a few examples, the holidays have already started in Requena which are held from August 20 to 31 and are the oldest in Spain, since 1948.

At Jerez, the Grape Harvest Festival which will be held from September 9 to 14, is dedicated to the figure of the venenciador, and this year pays special attention to the capital city of Jerez as European City of Wine. This year's program includes novelties such as the children's Venencia contest, or open days in several wineries. They organize master tastings and exhibitions of paintings, engravings, photographs and posters, so that visitors can take a historical tour of the city and its relationship with the wine.

Above all, for the chance to mingle with the locals, breathe the atmosphere and feel the spirit of love and passion with which its people devote themselves to their source of life and wealth: grapes and wine.

If you wish, we can organize a custom-made room to take part in these grape harvest festivities, and if you can't make it on these dates you can always enjoy a WINE ROUTE at another time of the year. In this link you will find an example:
