Sometimes you don't need to complicate your life. With this baked pork tenderloin with apple mustard sauce and honey, you will see how you will triumph with your friends or family with a super simple recipe to make and very clean. You only need a bowl and a baking dish.

The meat comes out juicy and the sauce, be warned, is addictive!Baked pork loin with apple mustard and honey sauce

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 piece of pork loin of 1 kg ( or sirloin pork)
  • 1/2 glass of beef or chicken broth
  • 2 medium spring onions or one packet of onion soup
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard in grain
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1/2 apple Golden
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil

STEP BY STEP RECIPE:

  1. Cut the onion in brunoise. Put some olive oil in a frying pan and cook the onion over low heat with a pinch of salt until it becomes transparent, about ten minutes. If you use a packet of onion soup, skip this step.
  2. Place the pork loin in a baking dish. Salt and pepper the pork loin. In a bowl put the poached onion or the sachet of onion powder, the honey, the mustard, half a grated apple and the broth and stir. Pour this mixture over the tenderloin and let it marinate at room temperature for at least half an hour. You can leave it done in the morning as well. In this case it is advisable to take it half an hour before from the refrigerator so that the meat is not so cold when baking it.Baked pork loin with onion and apple sauce
  3. Preheat the oven to 18oºc. Bake the loin for 50 minutes. It always depends on the weight and thickness of the piece to know the good point of the meat. If it weighs a little less, about 750/800 gr I leave it for 40 minutes. If you make sirloin, being thinner and lighter, in 20/25 minutes you will have it ready. From time to time I open the oven and spoon the sauce over the tenderloin to make it juicier. Halfway through cooking, I also turn it over so that it is toasted on both sides.
  4. We take it out of the oven and I pass the sauce through a turmixer because my daughters prefer not to find the little pieces of onion.

Voilà! Ready our baked pork loin with apple and honey mustard sauce with this delicious sauce. I usually accompany it with baked potatoes, taking advantage of the oven to mix them with the sauce.

I hope you liked it very much, and I remind you that on my instagram @cocinayviajes you will find tutorials in the IGTV video recipes, as well as my Gastro recommendations of restaurants, products, travels and succulent raffles!
