Crispy chicken fingers with cornflakes

Crispy chicken fingers with cornflakes

Today we cook crispy chicken fingers with cornflakes. An alternative to this nutritious food that is usually consumed at breakfast.

In addition, by consuming organic chicken and cornflakes, we are free of dyes, preservatives, pesticides or other chemical elements in their cultivation or feeding.

This recipe is ideal for children or pregnant women, where the growth stage is crucial, since corn cereals have a lot of folic acid, Vitamin B9, or vitamin B9, which is essential for DNA synthesis, in the formation of new cells. It is also rich in minerals such as magnesium and phosphorus, as well as fiber and complex carbohydrates.

Corn is a very complete food that contains mainly vitamins A, E (antioxidants) and B group (for the nervous system), which promote metabolism in the body and are beneficial to combat various diseases such as diabetes or hypertension problems.

If there are children at home, encourage them to prepare with you these crispy chicken fingers with conrnflakes are very easy and fun.

INGREDIENTS 4 SERVINGS
  • 600 gr organic chicken breastCrispy chicken fingers with cornflakes
  • 1 cup of organic cornflakes
  • 150 ml soy sauce
  • 5 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 tablespoons sesame
  • A handful of cashew nuts
  • Pepper
  • Optional : a chili pepper or hot paprika
ELABORATION STEP BY STEP
  1. Cut the breasts into strips
  2. In a bowl mix the soy with the honey and if you like a slightly spicy touch, crumble a chili pepper and add it to the mixture.
  3. Put the strips in the mixture, add some black pepper and stir to soak them well and let them marinate for one hour.Crispy chicken fingers with cornflakes
  4. Take a plastic bag and put the cornflakes and cashews in it. Close it and with a rolling pin press on top to get a batter of smaller pieces. You can also use a mortar and pestle. You can pound until you get a finer texture or not, to your liking! Although the less pounded, the crispier the fingers will be.
  5. Pour the batter into a bowl with the sesame seeds and mix.
  6. Coat the strips in the batter. Shake to remove any remaining liquid and press each chicken strip into the batter so that it is well coated with the mixture.
  7. Put all the strips on a baking tray and bake at 200 degrees until golden brown, approximately 15 minutes (although it depends on each oven and the thickness of the fingers or strips).

Enjoy these crispy chicken fingers with cornflakes and a ketchup or soy sauce or whatever you like.
