Puff pastry and apple roses
Today I share this recipe for puff pastry and apple roses, so easy, so delicious and so cute, so that you can make it in a jiffy and surprise your guests!
INGREDIENTS:
- Rectangular puff pastry dough
- Two golden apples or any red variety.
- Lemon
- Cream cheese or apricot or peach jam
- Teaspoon cinnamon + a little for sprinkling
- Two teaspoons of brown sugar
- Powdered sugar for sprinkling
STEP BY STEP RECIPE:
- It is as simple as peeling a couple of apples, cut into thin slices, put in a bowl with a teaspoon of cinnamon and two teaspoons of brown sugar, and a squeeze of lemon juice, cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 2 minutes.

- Roll out a rectangular puff pastry dough, cut into long strips (see photo), spread cream cheese or jam, sprinkle with a little cinnamon and brown sugar and place the apple slices as shown in the photo.
- Roll up and place these rolls in a muffin tin.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200ºc until golden brown. About 15/20 min (depending on the oven). .
- Now just sprinkle with a little powdered sugar and serve with a little creme fraiche, whipped cream or ice cream.
