White chocolate and pistachio Christmas tree cake
Christmas is coming! It's a fabulous time to do wonders in the kitchen, especially for colorful desserts with Christmas motifs, like this one. white chocolate and pistachio Christmas tree cake.

INGREDIENTS:
- 4 eggs
- 50 gr of pistachios
- 200 gr of quality white chocolate
- 200 gr whipping cream
- 100 gr white sugar
- 125 gr flour
- 75 gr butter
- 2 teaspoons of yeast
- 1 teaspoon green food coloring
- Strawberries
STEP BY STEP RECIPE:
- Heat the cream in a saucepan over low heat and add 100 grams of white chocolate and stir until the chocolate is completely melted. Pour into a large bowl and store in the refrigerator until completely cold. At least two hours.
- Beat the eggs with the sugar until they whiten, that is, until we obtain a somewhat white cream.
- Melt the butter at low power in the microwave and add it little by little while stirring. Repeat the process with 10o gr of white chocolate.
- Then put the flour and yeast in a sieve and sift over the previous mixture. With a spatula we are going to mix everything with enveloping movements, that is to say from bottom to top in a smooth way (not beating, but stirring).
- Finally we add the coloring and mix again with smooth movements and finally we add the pistachios chopped (I have done it with a food processor, if you do not have, you can put them on a board, put a cloth on top, and with a mortar or wide knife, crush them on the cloth to chop them).
- Pour the dough into a large bowl, leaving only a thin layer of about one centimeter. I had to use two bowls to achieve this.
- We put it in a pre-heated oven at 170ºc for 15-20 minutes. As it is very thin, it cooks very quickly.
- Remove the cream mixed with the chocolate from the refrigerator, and with a whisk or food processor, whip the mixture. It must be consistent. Put the mixture in a piping bag with a curly nozzle.
- Once the cake is not hot, with the help of kitchen rings of different sizes we make several circles. I have made 9 in total, being the largest, the base, 12 cm and the smallest in the cup, 3 cm.
- Wash, dry and slice the strawberries.
- The last step is to assemble the tree: to do this, place the largest circle of sponge cake on the base of the dish or plate where you want to present it. Place strawberry slices scattered over the surface and with the piping bag, put cream between them. Place the next circle in size, and repeat the process until we have reached the top of the tree.
And now we have it ready! I have also put some sugar stars, you can put blueberries or currants that are very cute, or whatever you can think of and you like.
