Homemade chocolate and walnut cookies
Who can resist a few chomemade chocolate and walnut ookies? My daughters devour them, and even better, they have a great time making them! they are very easy and quick to make. I'll tell you how:
INGREDIENTS: (for about 24 units)
- 350 gr wheat flour (you can also combine with half whole spelt flour)
- 50 gr of dark chocolate for desserts or tears
- 200 gr butter
- 100 gr of brown sugar
- 100 gr white sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar or 4 drops of vanilla aroma
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon of yeast
- A pinch of salt
- A handful of nuts
STEP BY STEP RECIPE:
- The first step is to beat the softened butter, that is to say, soft, that you have left out of the refrigerator for a while, with the two types of sugar until it becomes a whitish and frothy mixture.
- Add one egg and beat again. Add the other egg and the vanilla and repeat.
- Sift the flour with the baking powder and the salt, add it to the previous mixture and mix gently until a homogeneous, very chewy dough is formed.
- Chop the chocolate and walnuts and add to the batter and mix again until well distributed.
- On a baking sheet, place a sheet of baking paper. With the help of a spoon, take an amount of dough that fills the spoon and put it on the tray. Shape it into a circular shape but do not flatten it too much, as it will flatten with the heat. Repeat the process until the dough is finished.
- Preheat the oven to 180ºc and bake for approximately 10 minutes. If you see that they are not yet golden brown, leave them a few more minutes. In any case you will see that they are very soft, but then when they cool they harden slightly.
And these are ready homemade chocolate and walnut cookies for a snack with a glass of milk or a cup of coffee?
