Organic muesli cookies with organic chocolate and nuts
I love to make up recipes with what I have in the pantry, and today I made these organic muesli cookies with organic chocolate and nuts that, besides being delicious and crunchy, are very healthy.
This is a recipe for making the most of it, in which I have used a organic muesli I had open (from Lidl), but you can use any other, as well as a tablet of organic chocolate of Torras, but you can also use any you have at home, no matter if it is organic or not, if it is with milk or black, the point is to give a touch of chocolate chips to the cookies, but you can also do without it if you prefer. So, let's get to work?
- 110 gr of organic organic muesli
- 50 gr of organic chocolate quinoa and soybean
- 3 tablespoons peanut butter
- 50 gr of brown cane sugar
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon of yeast
- A handful of nuts
STEP-BY-STEP PREPARATION:
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
- Chop the chocolate with a food processor, until you get small pieces, like chocolate chips. We do not want the chocolate to be pulverized, but to have small pieces that will melt in our mouth when we eat the cookies.
- The recipe is as simple as beating the egg in a bowl, adding the rest of the ingredients except the walnuts, and mixing with a wooden spatula until everything is well blended.
- Place a baking paper on a baking tray. With the help of a soup spoon, take the dough and place small mounds of dough on the paper, separated from each other. Flatten slightly so that it is more or less round and place half a walnut on each cookie, also pressing lightly.
- Bake until golden brown, approximately 15-18 minutes. As I always warn, it depends on each oven! give it the golden touch that you like the most. It's like bread, some prefer it more white and others, like me, more toasted and crunchy.
The idea with these organic muesli cookies with organic chocolate and nuts is that you improvise a little, for example: you don't have muesli but you have oat flakes, great! it would also work for you, and I don't have walnuts, but I have hazelnuts or a mix of nuts, great! or you don't have chocolate but you have raisins that you love, add them too!
