Tender wheat salad with turkey, avocado and mango
Who said salads are boring and bland? Today I propose a delicious tender wheat salad with turkey, avocado and mango, healthy and very easy to make.
It is temperate and soft wheat Yes! Do you know what it is? Wheat is not only taken in the form of flour, the most common, but also in grain, which when cooked has a crunchy and juicy texture. In addition, in this way we take better advantage of its properties: it is one of the highest protein cereals, very low fat content y large amount of fiber.
INGREDIENTS: (4 people)
- 1 cup of soft wheat
- 1 handle
- 1 avocado
- 200 gr turkey in cubes
- A handful of walnuts
- Half orange juice
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- Olive oil
- Salt
STEP BY STEP RECIPE:
- Boil the wheat over medium heat with a teaspoon of salt for 10 minutes. Strain and place in a large bowl.
- Then cut turkey and mango cubes and sauté them on the grill with a little olive oil until golden brown. Add to the bowl with the wheat.
- Cut the avocado into small pieces, sprinkle with a little lemon juice and add to the bowl with the walnuts. P
- Finally, make a vinaigrette with the juice of half an orange, soy sauce and olive oil (about 6 tablespoons), emulsify by whisking with a fork and dress.
