Turkey wraps with mustard and honey mayonnaise
Many times we are tired or don't have time to cook, aren't we? These wturkey raps with mustard and honey mayonnaise are the solution.
I give you this healthy and very quick idea, which can also be a recipe for making the most of it, since you can use the leftovers of a roast chicken, for example, or of shredded meat and put paprika in the mayonnaise, or how about tuna and make a mango mayonnaise?
Come on, be creative, what fun !
INGREDIENTS: ( 8 units)
- 8 wheat wraps
- 200 gr turkey slices
- One bag or 125 gr of assorted lettuce sprouts
- 1 egg
- Olive oil
- Sunflower oil
- Salt
- 1 lemon
- A teaspoon of Dijon mustard
- A spoonful of honey
STEP BY STEP RECIPE:
- The first thing we will do is the homemade mayonnaise: To make it, put an egg, the juice of half a lemon, a pinch of salt, the mustard and honey and another dash of olive oil in a blender or mixer. Whisk and add sunflower oil little by little, until you see that the mayonnaise thickens.
- Place some wraps or wheat tortillas on the plate, spread some of the sauce, put one or two slices of turkey and some mixed lettuce leaves. Roll up the wrap or tortilla and cut in half - ready in 2 minutes!
With this recipe you will have 16 halves of turkey wraps with honey mustard mayonnaise, enough for a birthday snack or dinner at home. Activate your imagination and fill them with whatever you like!
