Honey mustard turkey hams
Today I prepare these turkey hams with honey and mustard,The recipe is very simple to make and a dish full of protein and with a finger-licking sauce.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 turkey hams (approx. 1000 gr.)

- 2 tablespoons of dark mail (from the forest, oak...)
- 1 and a half tablespoons Dijon or grain mustard
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 100 ml of water
- 1 large spring onion
- 1 sweet potato
- 2 cloves black garlic
- 1 teaspoon of oregano and 1 teaspoon of thyme
- Virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper
STEP BY STEP RECIPE:
- Preheat the oven to 180ºc.
- In a small bowl, mix the honey and mustard. If the honey is too thick, put the bowl in the microwave for a few seconds so that it dissolves well. Add the juice of half a lemon and the water. Stir.
- Cut the black garlic cloves into small pieces and add to the sauce.
- Place the thighs in a baking dish. Drizzle the sauce over the top, soaking the meat well. Add salt and pepper and sprinkle the thyme and oregano on top.
- Peel the onion and sweet potato and cut into slices. Put it in another bowl with salt, pepper and drizzle with a little extra virgin olive oil.
- Put everything in the oven. It is important to baste the thighs with the sauce. You will see that it will caramelize because of the honey sugar. If you see that it thickens a lot, add a little water so that it doesn't stick and you can baste the meat with the sauce. I do it every 10/15 minutes.
- Bake for 40 minutes. Accompany the thighs with some onion and sweet potato garnish and as a suggestion, with a salad and you have a complete dish.
