Vegan and whole grain oat and nut balls
Would you like a healthy and delicious energy boost? Then these vegan and wholemeal oat and dried fruit balls They will be your downfall! Besides, you can use leftovers you have, as I have done in my case, I had granola, some nuts and an open bag of puffed millet, with the expiration date close. I am happy with this invention, as you can make many variations. I have used a mix of whole oat flakes with nuts and seeds (granola), but you can use only oat flakes, or muesli, even oatmeal.... of nuts I have used nuts, but you can also do with cashews, peanuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, even a mixture of those that you like, and the millet, gives a more crunchy and airy texture, but it is not dispensable!
- 60 gr of whole grain oat flakes, granola or muesli
- 20 gr of puffed millet
- 40 gr of walnuts
- 4 tablespoons of peanut butter
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 6 pitted dates
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: dark chocolate tears
STEP BY STEP RECIPE:
- In a blender put the oat flakes, muesli or granola, millet, walnuts and dates and chop everything together.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and beat again until everything is well integrated. With the help of a spatula lower the ingredients that have stuck to the walls of the glass or lid and stir again.
- Pour into a bowl and with the help of your hands make small balls.
- Refrigerates.
