Healthy homemade granola

Today I show you how to make homemade granola with oatmeal , super tasty and healthy. In this way we avoid the excess of added sugars of those sold already made and some other unwanted extra ingredients, such as thickeners, palm fat, colorings, etc.

You will love it, and you can drink it with milk, mixed with yogurt and fruit, for some homemade cake, to make bars, etc.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 100 gr oat flakes
  • Juice of a tangerine
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 3 handfuls of natural and unsalted nuts, the ones you like the best
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. turmeric powder
  • 2 handfuls of raisins or diced dates or dried cranberries
  • Optional: dark chocolate chips at least 70% , desiccated coconut flakes or any other desiccated fruit
RECIPE ELABORATION STEP BY STEP:
  1. Cover a baking tray with parchment paper or we can also use the airfryer.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180º up and down heat.
  3. Put all the ingredients in a bowl. Coconut oil is solid at room temperature if it is not too hot, so melt it before a few seconds in the microwave or in a saucepan over low heat.
  4. Stir well with a spatula and spread everything evenly on the pan.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned or toasted.
  6. It is recommended that you stir every 3 minutes so that all the oatmeal and other ingredients are toasted. And as each oven is different, make sure that it does not burn, if you see that it begins to take color quickly, lower the temperature, and if you see that after 5 minutes it is already toasted, remove it from the oven. In airfryer I also have it 8 minutes at 180.
