You are at spinach catalan style with ricotta cheese, They are a delicious, light, nutritious, quick and easy dinner idea.

I have added ricotta cheese that combines very well and makes the dish more nutritious, providing protein and calcium.

Spinach Catalan style with ricotta cheese

INGREDIENTS: (4 servings)

  • 2 large bags of spinach
  • Sprockets
  • Rolled almonds
  • Raisins
  • 200 gr ricotta cheese
  • Extra virgin olive oil (Aove)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Mix of seeds : sesame, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds.

STEP-BY-STEP PREPARATION: ( click here to see the video-recipe)

  1. Brown the almonds and pine nuts and raisins (a couple of handfuls of each is fine but it depends on the taste of each one) with a little olive oil in the pan over medium heat, without burning,
  2. Add the spinach, a splash of water and pinch of salt, cover and cook 3 minutes, uncover and stir and cook another 2 minutes.
  3. Serve with the ricotta on top, a little ground pepper, a few seeds and a little bit of Aove, ready!
