Last Monday we had the great opportunity to bathing among huge bluefin tuna (some of them two and a half meters long), which walked under our feet and sometimes in front of us at less than a meter distance.

In these pools, there are approximately 400 bluefin tuna with an average length of 2.5 m length and 250 weight. There they are fed with blue fish and remain there until their meat reaches the optimum level of fat, color and texture, in order to obtain an exquisite wild bluefin tuna of the highest quality.

And it is precisely in these pools, where the catamaran moors, after a beautiful crossing overlooking the coast, and where customers will enjoy swimming with and among the tuna!

Upon arrival, the show begins when they throw sardines into the pools, and you can watch from the boat, as the giant tunas dive to catch their food. The truth is quite impressive, they have quite pronounced and yellow spines, and at that moment you think: and there I'm going to get in?

But this company has been doing this activity for more than 6 years and there has never been any mishap. In addition, they inform you of some safety measures easy to follow and there is a diver underwater at all times, rather, to make you some very impressive photos and videos underwater and then projected on the return.

And then it's time! With goggles and snorkel, you dive into the pool, and then you're ready to go. you see under your feet the giant bluefin tuna (by the way, it is the largest of the tuna species, it can reach up to three meters and is an intense blue with a silvery white belly). The best thing is when they throw sardines, and when they sink to a depth little deeper than your feet, the tuna dives at an incredible speed and without touching you!
