Whole wheat spelt mini donuts with seeds and cheese
Did you know that you can also make savory donuts? Take a look at these whole wheat spelt mini donuts seeds and cheese. They are a delight and a healthy and very appetizing snack to take between meals, for breakfast or snack.
These seeds are full of nutrients, essential vitamins and minerals such as iron, zinc and magnesium, Omega 3 , plus fiber and lots of protein. What more could we ask for in a snack? Either as a snack or as breakfast, accompanied by some turkey and orange juice would be perfect as well.
INGREDIENTS: ( for 6 units)
- 70 gr of wholemeal spelt flour
- 10 gr flax seeds
- 20 gr of hemp seeds
- 40 gr grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 40 gr extra virgin olive oil
- 50 ml of milk
- 1 handful of sunflower seeds
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of granulated garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon of yeast
STEP BY STEP RECIPE:
- Preheat the oven to 180ºc.
- In a bowl put the egg, milk and oil and beat.
- Then add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
- In a mold for mini donuts, pour a few drops of olive oil and spread in the hole of the donuts so that they release well when removed from the oven.
- With the help of a spoon, fill the hole of the donuts, without reaching the top or surface.
- We put them in the oven for 12 minutes and you will see that they are lightly browned.
- Turn the doughnuts out onto a wire rack and allow to cool.
If you eat them warm, the cheese will be melted and delicious. If they are cooled, they will be just as tasty.
