Ham, fig and mozzarella skewers
You are at ham, fig and mozzarella skewers are ideal for a fresh, tasty and seasonal appetizer. In addition, you can vary the fruit for others depending on what you like more or what is in season.
It is September, and I used figs just picked from the tree, but well.
It could be with melon, grapes, peach, nectarine,,,, Try it and you will see! but try that the fruit is ripe so that its sweetness contrasts with the ham, which by the way, if it is good Iberian, much better:)
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 figs
- 8 mozzarella cheese balls
- 4 cherry tomatoes
- 4 slices of ham
- 16 basil leaves
- Balsamic vinegar reduction
- 4 wooden skewers

RECIPE ELABORATION STEP BY STEP:
- Peel and quarter the figs and halve the tomatoes.
- Take a skewer and go skewering a basil leaf and drag it all the way down leaving space to take the skewer.
- Next put half a tomato, a mozzarella ball, a basil leaf, a piece of fig and another round, ending with the ham that you must prick making a little bag, and with a last basil leaf.
- Drizzle with the balsamic vinegar reduction before serving - the finishing touch!
